Dalam usaha berterusan dan sebagai susulan daripada Mesyuarat Tripartite peringkat Pegawai Kanan yang diadakan di Perth, Australia pada 24 dan 25 Mac 2015 serta Mesyuarat Tripartite peringkat Menteri yang telah diadakan di Canberra pada bulan Ogos tahun lalu, Malaysia amat berbesar hati untuk mengalu-alukan kehadiran Timbalan Perdana Menteri Australia, Warren Truss MP dan Menteri Pengangkutan China, Yang Chuantang, ke Mesyuarat Tripartite peringkat Menteri di Kuala Lumpur pada 16 April 2015 ini.
As part of the on-going search efforts for MH370 and following through from the Officials Tripartite Meeting held in Perth, Australia on 24 and 25 March 2015 as well as the Ministerial Tripartite Meeting held in Canberra in August last year, Malaysia is honoured to welcome the Honourable Warren Truss MP, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and the Honourable Yang Chuantang, Minister of Transport of the People’s Republic of China for a Ministerial Tripartite Meeting in Kuala Lumpur later this week on Thursday, 16 April 2015.
This workshop is only the beginning. Subsequently, we intend to conduct follow-up dialogues, forums, seminars and the like with the Chinese community as well as the business fraternity along with inter-racial groups. The intention is to heighten the level of communications and interactions with a view to collectively formulating a Chinese Community Blueprint. The aspiration of the Blueprint is to ensure the rights of the community are included in the National Development Agenda, thereby protecting every citizens’ rights.
The Ministry of Transport has set up an investigation team headed by Dato’ Yahya Abdul Rahman, a very experienced investigator with more than 20 years’ experience in helicopter accident investigations. The team will have four other Malaysian Members. We will also invite an Accredited Representative from France as they are the state of design & manufacturer of the aircraft and engine.
It is with great sorrow that I confirm reports of fatalities in relation to the crash of a civilian helicopter, which occurred earlier today in Semenyih, Kajang. We offer our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those affected.
The alumni play a key role in the growth and sustainability of TAR University College. There are many ways the alumni can contribute to their alma mater, be it financial or non-monetary support. The University College has over 170,000 alumni, collectively, the alumni forms a formidable force to be reckoned with. I wish to call for TAA and all alumni to continue to join hands together and lend support to your alma mater particularly in the future development of the University College.
